How do you arrive at a price?+
We check live market data (recent sold listings, condition-adjusted comparables) and apply a margin that reflects what we can realistically resell for. We share the workings with our quote so you can see the reasoning, not just a number.
What kind of collections do you buy?+
Pretty much anything Pokémon — modern sealed (Surging Sparks, Stellar Crown), vintage holos (Base–Neo), graded singles, bulk lots, even partial collections. We also buy Magic, One Piece, Lorcana and Star Wars Unlimited, though our depth is best on Pokémon.
What's the difference between outright buy and consignment?+
Outright is faster: we pay you immediately and take the risk of resale. Consignment is patient: we list the cards at full market price and pay you when they sell, keeping a commission. You get more money via consignment but it takes longer and you remain the owner until sale.
Do I have to come to the shop?+
No. For small or low-value lots, posting works fine — we'll send a prepaid tracked label. For high-value (over £500) or vintage cards, we strongly recommend dropping in so we can value them in person and protect them through transit.
What happens if I disagree with the quote?+
Nothing. Quotes are no-obligation. We will explain how we got to the number and you are free to walk away, sell elsewhere, or come back later. Your cards stay with you until we both agree.
Are there any fees?+
No fees on outright buys or trade-ins — the quote is what you get. Consignment commission is shown upfront on the quote and only deducted from the sale price, never charged separately.
