Pulse Pull terms.

Free packs in lucky orders, and our Best Opening of the Month competition.

The short version

  • Some orders get a free booster pack in the box, on us.
  • Film yourself opening a Pokémon TCG pack, post it on Instagram, tag @pulsecollective and use #PulsePull.
  • Each month we pick our favourite opening video and the winner gets £50 store credit.
  • It's judged on the video, not on what you pulled. No purchase is necessary to enter.

1. Who runs this

The promoter is Pulse Collective, 16 Lodge Street, Manchester M24 6AL (“we”, “us”). You can contact us at [email protected].

2. Free packs

  1. From time to time we add a free Pokémon TCG booster pack to customer orders. It is a gift. We choose which orders get one, and no purchase or order value guarantees a free pack.
  2. We choose which pack to include. It cannot be swapped, exchanged for cash or chosen in advance.
  3. The free pack is yours to keep. It isn't part of what you paid for, so it doesn't change any refund. If you return your order, you don't need to send the free pack back.
  4. You do not need a free pack to enter the competition below.

3. Best Opening of the Month: who can enter

  1. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom.
  2. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian to enter. If an under-18 wins, we may ask the parent or guardian to confirm that permission before we give the prize.
  3. Employees of Pulse Collective and their immediate families cannot enter.

4. How to enter

  1. Record a video of yourself opening one or more Pokémon TCG booster packs. The packs can be from anywhere, including a free pack from us, and no purchase is necessary.
  2. Post it publicly on Instagram as a post or reel, tag @pulsecollective and include #PulsePull in the caption. Your account must be public, or we can't see the entry.
  3. Each month's competition runs from 00:00 on the 1st to 23:59 (UK time) on the last day of that calendar month. A video counts for the month it was posted in.
  4. You can enter as many videos as you like, but each person can win only once per month.
  5. Your video must be your own, must not break Instagram's rules, and must not contain anything offensive, unlawful or that infringes anyone else's rights. Anyone else who appears in it must be happy to be in it. For under-18s, that means with a parent or guardian's permission. We may disqualify any entry that doesn't meet these rules.

5. Judging

  1. The Pulse Collective team judges every valid entry for that month and picks one winner, on creativity, energy and reaction, and how well the video shows off the hobby.
  2. Judging is not based on the value or rarity of the cards pulled. A brilliant reaction to a common pack can beat a dull video of a big hit.
  3. We judge within 7 days of the month closing. Our decision is final.
  4. If there are no valid entries in a month, there is no winner that month.

6. The prize

  1. The winner receives £50 store credit, usable on our website or in our Manchester shop. It is valid for 12 months from the day it is issued.
  2. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred or split.
  3. We will contact the winner by Instagram direct message from our official @pulsecollective account. If they don't reply within 14 days, we may award the prize to another entry from the same month.
  4. We will never ask you to pay anything, click a link to claim, or share a password or card details. Any message asking for that is not from us. Please report it.
  5. We will announce the winner's Instagram handle on our Instagram account.

7. Your video

You keep ownership of your video. By entering, you allow us to repost, share and feature it on our social media and website, always crediting you, for the purpose of promoting Pulse Collective. If you'd like us to remove a repost, email us and we will.

8. Your information

We only use your Instagram handle, and any contact details you give us if you win, to run this competition and deliver the prize. We don't sell it or add you to our mailing list unless you ask us to.

9. Everything else

  1. This competition is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Meta or The Pokémon Company.
  2. We may change, pause or end the free packs or the competition if we have to, for example if it's being abused. We'll post any change on this page, and it won't affect a month that has already closed.
  3. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
