With over 25 years of history and more than 1000 cards in the game, Pokemon TCG has been a popular strategy-based trading card game for decades. But now the game is taking another big step forward into the future.
Starting this year, Pokemon TCG is introducing some exciting new formats and changes to the rules and game mechanics. The Rulebook has been completely overhauled, featuring simplified points of entry for new players and more flexibility for experienced ones. This includes more support for various ways of playing - from casual play to larger tournaments - as well as clearer wording to make sure everyone understands their options.
The popular Legacy format has also been introduced, which combines generations of cards from different eras so that fans can use all their old cards together at once. This opens up a whole world of new possibilities for players who want an even greater level of customization with their decks.
In addition to revamping the existing ruleset, Pokeon TCG is introducing some major changes to how players collect and build their decks as well. These include ways to customize your deck size by including different sized cards; adding, removing or exchanging cards between packs before your turn; streamlined rarity system; stackable card vending machines; pokemon marketplaces where players can buy or sell rare cards; improved booster packs with better value; and much more!
By 2023, Pokemon TCG will become truly global - with official events in countries around the world for all level of players - as well as continued innovations like online tournaments and other virtual experiences with real rewards on the line.
